cut the laces of life

Well, I had a good morning today since I got to sleep in until nine thirty today! That was all thanks to a doctor's appointment at ten thirty. So that means that I missed the first half of school thanks to that. I'm fine, it was just a normal check up that I usually get and I already made plans for my next one in September. It was just nice to have the chance to sleep in and cut my classes in half.

I did go back to school, at around eleven in the morning. It wasn't like I was going to go to lunch with eleven minutes left. Also, I had better things to do, like try to avoid people! XD Another silly flex like usual with games, weird conversations and some "talented" artwork. Nothing much happened at my last day in the elementary library, until September. Besides raiding the snacks there, I worked on typing up some labels for new books and making some deliveries. American History was rather interesting since all class we did woman's rights. It did get heated a bit when we came to the abortion case but that somehow turned into explaining what really happens in pregnancy to the men. Well, that was an interesting way to end class. XD

Well, I could say that today was just rather interesting day as how everything was set up. It was just a hot and muggy day due to the rain and yet peaceful because of the rain. We finished up watching the Broadway musicales and now we have to do a time line starting from the 1900s up to today. I don't think that would be hard to do, and as long as I can talk about Sweeney Todd(I saw the stage performance on the Ides of March and loved it) and Repo! then I will be a happy person. We finished up our nature posters that we were working on all week and I love how mine came out. It came out so beautiful and I manage to find time to edit my podcast.

My God, driver's ed was just so awkward today! I was the only one in the classroom and I am not making this up. I spent the first half hour watching the weather channel as my teacher was frantically searching for someone to ride along in the car. After finding someone, I spent the rest of the class just driving around and getting ahead of my other classmates. I had some craziness in American History due to the heat but when isn't it crazy? We also started the Vitamin war and we will work on more of it tomorrow.

My weekend is finally here and I can see four days of doing nothing but sleeping! Plus some other things if I can think of something to do for my mini vacation. I really had nothing to do at school today since it was a pretty easy in the classes since I got no homework for the whole day. I did nothing in my music class today since we spent the whole class watching a tv special on Broadway musicales. I had to record my podcast today since I haven't done it yet and it went pretty well. Of course I'm used to it since I did shadow a local radio station in my freshmen year of high school.

Had an assembly today on drunk driving since prom is this weekend(like I'm going to go to that!). The school decided to have a car accident simulation set up outside in the hot weather. I have to say that everyone was shocked, except for me since times like these I'm glad that I have a strong grip on what the world is really like. Remember when I said that I laughed through Saving Private Ryan, well it happened again here(it was a silent laugh). It was fine, until I walked passed the white car and had one look at Voos and just spent the time not laughing my ass off. First off, everyone who was playing car crash victims had normal clothing on and he was the only one dressed up. Second, every one has pretty realistic stage make up on to make it look real and for him it look like they just slapped some red blood on him. Finally, his acting was horrible and he should improve on it! I have to admit, he looks very attractive with blood on him.

We did nothing in my American history class since we spent most of the class on the cold war. Since we finished early, we started to throw things out of the window. A good example of this was a girl's flip flop and we almost throw her sweatshirt out the window too. I love that class so much! XD

So, it is going to be a short week because I have Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off due to Memorial day. I guess you can tell that I'm pretty excited for it for one reason: sleeping in! Admit it, you love it and you can't wait for it. My CXS presentation is tomorrow and I'm pretty excited for it since I'll be sharing something that changed my life so much. For the music sample, I decided to just use my favorite song by them and that is Sophia. I did nothing in digital photo today since it was a catch up day. Okay, I did do my driver's ED homework that was due today since I had better things to do than play games.

I drove to Owaka trail today since it was my turn to dive there. All I can sum it up is time of the month + driving = a very short tempered wanted to kill anything in site me. I almost said some colorful things to some driver's mothers while driving, but I didn't want to get a long lecture of road rage. I managed to correctly predict while in the car that Voos would mess up getting an A by slamming into the school curve when coming back. Damn, I should get a job in psychic predictions since I'm so good at it.

Got my WWII test back on it and I got an 80 on it. Not bad for someone who didn't get the bonus points during the review game. Like I really need them anyway. We started the Cold War today and it is going to be a pretty big unit due to the size of the section. I'll get through it as with the other units.
